Maintenance of Tree Wells

The HOA sent out a memo to all Owners instructing residents to remove all 'personal' items from tree wells. This includes but is not limited to bird feeders, lights, and edging. The HOA stated that this is being enforced by the City of Raleigh. One of our residents, Jacob Anchorstar, sent a letter to the City to get more clarity on what exactly is non-compliant about our tree wells. We'll provide an update to the community when we receive more information. See the email from the HOA below. Update 4/1/2025: APAM responded to the letter and asked the City of Raleigh to let us know if flowers (or what other items) may remain in the tree wells. APAM feels that flowers beautify the properties. No response from the City of Raleigh yet.

Update 4/2/2025: City of Raleigh responded to the letter and said that they are currently reviewing the status of trees in our community.
